A British family medicine specialist with long experience of offender healthcare, Mark is our co-founder. He also sits on our Philippines board, as the representative of this UK board.

Non-clinically he leads CMF with which we have close links. Clinically he works part-time in London’s prisons and forensic psychiatric hospitals.

He is married to our other co-founder Rachael. Outside of work he enjoys reading about history and has published a book on the history of the British Christian medical movement. He also enjoys difficult jigsaw puzzles and is learning to SCUBA dive.

A British accountant, Sarah has recently retired from running an accountancy school through which she loved helping people gain life and career opportunities.

She continues to use her professional background to support us as we reflect God’s love and justice through pioneering work in offender healthcare.

To relax, she enjoys spending time with her family.

A British family medicine specialist, Alex is the lead doctor and associate medical director at a large male prison in London.

After undergraduate training at Cambridge and Oxford, he undertook internal medicine, tropical disease and then family medicine postgraduate training. For many years he also worked part-time for CMF.

Outside of medicine he enjoys cooking and cats and is learning to play the ukulele.

A former member of our UK office staff, Nandi is a junior doctor in Hull.

Originally hailing from Zimbabwe, she moved to Britain as a teenager and trained at the Hull York Medical School. She has an interest in medical politics and champions inclusion and diversity issues.

Outside of medicine, she likes tennis and board games.

David is a consultant physician for older age adults at a South London hospital.

He has research interests in frailty and swallowing, chairing the United Kingdom Swallow Research Group (UKSRG). And he is editor of the journal Triple Helix,

Outside of medicine he umpires hockey games and cycles long distance.

A British family medicine specialist with long experience of offender healthcare both in UK prisons and internationally, Rachael is our chief medical officer and co-founder.

The voluntary leading of our organisation takes up most of her time, and so she is in and around the Philippines for up to a third of each year. Back in the UK she does occasional locums in prisons and helps a hospice adapt its services to vulnerable patients including prisoners.

She is married to our other co-founder Mark. Outside of medicine, she enjoys many things including kick boxing and SCUBA diving. A qualified diving instructor, she particularly enjoys wreck diving and diving against debris in Subic Bay.
